Studio Details
The studio is 5 minutes from Cambridge station and belongs to Roderick Macdonald of Eve Productions. It is 9'6" (2.9 metres) wide, 20' (6 metres) deep and 10' (3 meters) high.
There are two Bowens 500 variable output flashheads, one of which is affixed to the ceiling to provide a backlight without tripods and cables getting in the shot, a large wafer softbox and an elinchrom IR flash trigger which you're welcome to use.
The studio is lined with dark drapes and there is a roll of white background paper. The floor is unpolished pine and there are various coloured coverings available. There is also a very strong suspension point, red leather sofa and left handed chaise lounge. There is also a double futon mattress, two traditional Japanese tatami mats and an enclosed, romantically overgrown garden with a large oak tree which is also suitable for suspensions.
The studio is a home studio, and as it is adjacent to the lounge, rather than in a converted garage or extension. This means it has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and makes for a nice environment to work in.
The studio comes with unlimited real coffee, any type of tea you can think of, and if you ask nicely I'll bake too!
